The Dyson PencilWash™ cleans hard floors using a motorised roller with 64,000 microfibre filaments, supplied with clean water through eight hydration points, while dirty water and debris are extracted with every rotation. Its design places particular emphasis on reliability: the motorised brush, motorised roller, hydraulic system, locking mechanisms, connections and battery are engineered to withstand repeated use.
LONGTIME® certification confirms several hundred hours of hydraulic endurance testing, tank locking mechanisms designed to withstand thousands of cycles, and a battery that retains at least 75% of its capacity after 600 full charge cycles.
Sensitive components are also protected against water, moisture, dust and debris. Repairability is supported by ease of disassembly, accessible maintenance, and the availability of consumable, vulnerable and critical parts for 13 years after the last unit of the model is placed on the market.
