The WHY reveals our nature! Do you like trees? You’ll love its wood. A 140cm x 80cm table in solid French ash, 2.50cm thick, weighs 40kg. It is made up of 3 elements from the atmosphere and the water cycle:
- 32.4 kg Carbon (50%)
- 28.5 oxygen (44%)
- 3.9 kg hydrogen (6%)
The design of the WHY is based on 3 distinct elements that are easy to separate: the legs, a fixing frame and a worktop. All made from solid wood. The icing on the cake is that Canadian researchers at the University of British Columbia have shown that working in spaces where the furniture is made of visible wood has a measurable influence on well-being, reducing stress indicators and promoting concentration and recovery after effort.
