Could you define the business and the purpose of the company?

Pellenc is a company that manufactures agricultural machinery and battery-powered tools for viticulture, arboriculture and the maintenance of green spaces.

For what reasons did you decide to embark on the LONGTIME® certification process? What benefits do you expect to gain from it?

Building sustainable tools has become part of the DNA of Pellenc through the the many contacts with our customers. Farmers in particular like to invest in the long term. The LONGTIME label should enable us to better promote this approach to design and manufacturing.

How is this approach perceived within your company?

Very well perceived, it is very consistent with our culture.

How much time did you spend on the certification process? Would you say that this was a reasonable amount of time or rather excessive for your company?

The process took 20 months and involved approximately 130 hours of work.

What was the complexity of the process of certification? Could you describe your experience?

The approach was relatively simple,the support and collaboration with Ethikis have been very effective. In addition to the certification process, we appreciated the discussions on the changes in the market. a13> discussions on the upcoming regulatory changes to come.

Did the certification audit raise any concerns or questions regarding the protection of your a8> trade secrets?

We are necessarily cautious when it comes to presenting the a6> details of our operations, but we have worked in confidence and under an agreement of confidentiality. In hindsight, we no longer have any concerns.
